The wild little coin of pocketing a cool rock on every single walk. The joke: Glintwaddle is a feral penguin who screeches at anything shiny, snatches it and adds it to a nest pile that never stops growing. For everyone who comes home with a pocket full of rocks.
From the Ice
Nobody saw where Glintwaddle came from. One day the ice cracked, and out crawled a penguin with a crest like a lightning strike and eyes that never agreed on anything.
The beak was already full. Nobody has tamed them since. Every glint on the shore goes onto the pile, and the pile has opinions about you getting close.
