Privacy and the records
Updated 2026-10-17
What MemeTrader records when you visit and act, Google Analytics and its switch, what is public and what you can ask for.
The visit and action records
When a page loads, MemeTrader records a random visitor id kept in your browser, the page, the referring site, the link’s campaign tags, the kind of device and your country — never the IP address itself.
For each action or page error it records the page and which step succeeded or failed and why, under that id and a random id for the browser tab. The records are first-party, set no cookie, never hold a wallet address or an email, and are never shared.
Action records are kept 90 days, then only daily totals with no id. Visit records are kept up to 24 months.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics counts page views and a few game events: measurement only, never ads. Google signals and ad personalisation are off, and it never receives a wallet address, a handle or a message.
On a device set to a European time zone it asks first and stays off until allowed. Elsewhere it runs until you turn Google Analytics off in Settings, or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. Turning it off deletes its cookies. Google keeps its data at most 14 months.
Your data
Public: your handle, trades, positions, returns, ranks, votes and chat. Private: your wallet addresses, your email and your Google account. The real-money board shows a row only after your consent: the Rank switch.
A guest run is found by one first-party cookie, memetrader-guest, until 90 days after the last activity; then it is anonymised.
To see, export or delete your data, email support@memetrader.fun and prove the account — a message signed by a bound wallet, or a mail from its address. The answer comes within 30 days. What is on a blockchain stays. The full text: the Privacy Policy.
