Wallets

Binding Solana wallets to an account, the payout default, switching, unbinding, signing out and who sees an address.

Binding a wallet

An account may bind several Solana wallets. Binding asks the wallet to sign a message: no transaction, no fee. A wallet belongs to one account only.

Bind from Wallets on You, or from the Wallet sheet that opens when a payment, a launch or a quick buy needs a wallet and the account has none — a Google or email account binds one there. Payments are accepted only from a bound wallet.

The payout default

One bound wallet is the payout default: the wallet that is paid. A creator’s share of signals and tips goes to it, and the balance on You and in the account menu is its balance. A payment may come from any bound wallet.

In the Wallet sheet a tap on another bound wallet makes it the payout default.

Switching

Switch wallet — on You and in the account menu — opens the bound wallets with the payout default checked. A tap on another makes it the default; Connect another binds the wallet this browser holds and makes it the default; All wallets opens the full list. The balances follow at once.

Unbinding

Unbind removes a wallet from the account and signs out every session. Sign in again afterwards.

The wallet the account signs in with, and an account’s last way in, cannot be unbound. An unbound wallet’s history stays with the account.

Signing out

Sign out asks once — Sign out? — then ends the session in every tab of this browser. The page stays where it was, signed out, with Sign in beside it.

Private addresses

Wallet addresses are private. Profiles, the standings, the Stands, run pages and the real-money board show a handle, never an address. Your own addresses are masked — the first and last four characters — on your own pages. An email address or a Google account is never shown to anyone.
