Buy and sell for real

Updated 2026-10-17

Buying and selling a launched token with real SOL from your own wallet: the sheet, the two routes, the fees, the consent and each state.

Before the first buy

A real buy needs a Solana wallet — Phantom, Solflare or Backpack —, SOL in it, and an account with that wallet bound. The trade is your own wallet’s: MemeTrader builds the transaction, your wallet signs it, nothing is held.

Signed out or a guest: Buy opens the sign-in and comes back to the token’s page. A Google or email account binds a wallet first: binding. A phone with no wallet in its browser opens the page inside the wallet’s own app.

The sheet

Buy $X on a token’s page opens the swap sheet — a panel on a desktop: Buy or Sell, the presets 0.1 · 0.25 · 0.5 · 1 SOL, what the wallet holds, You get ≈, the route and the wallet’s balance. The bolt on the Buy strip buys at once with the preset last picked on this device.

The board’s Swap buys and sells the round’s token the same way, on Jupiter’s route. A buy spends at most 50 SOL. On a token’s page one network address builds and sends at most 20 swaps a minute.

On the curve

A token launched here trades on its LaunchLab bonding curve until 85 SOL is raised. A buy or sell there is LaunchLab’s own instruction; the route chip reads Route · the curve.

A buy larger than what is left on the curve takes only the rest — Takes n SOL — and graduates the token.

After graduation

Once the curve fills the token moves to a Raydium pool. While it moves, Buy is inert and reads Graduating; trading resumes on Raydium. Right after, the route may need a minute to open — Route opening.

From then the route is Jupiter’s — Route · Raydium — with MemeTrader’s own fee leg in the same transaction. The board’s Swap is always this route.

Fees

The sheet prints no fee on the curve: that fee is the launch’s own, the same on every trade. The network fee is the wallet’s.

Slippage: 3 % on the curve, 1 % on Raydium. The curve’s priority fee is at most 0.002 SOL a trade.

The first real trade of an account shows one line: “Real trades through MemeTrader rank you on the board under your handle. Hide anytime in Settings.”

The first tap shows it and the button becomes Confirm · Buy $X (or Confirm · Sell $X); the second tap goes on to the wallet. The line shows once per account. The board it names: the real-money board.

What each state means

StateMeaning
Sign in walletThe wallet is open for your signature; after 90 seconds it counts as failed
Sent · n SOLOn chain; Solscan opens the transaction
RejectedThe wallet declined. Nothing was sent.
Didn’t go throughThe transaction never landed
The price movedThe price passed the slippage; try again on a fresh quote
GraduatingThe token is moving to Raydium; Buy waits

Selling

Sell in the sheet sells 25 · 50 · 100 % of what the wallet holds of the token, for SOL, on the same route; the proceeds arrive in the same transaction, after the route’s fees.

A sell worth less than 0.001 SOL is refused: Too small to sell.
